First week at first job

I am writing this post on a monday which follows the weekend which came after working for a one whole week at the first job. There are plenty of expectations when people go to their office on the first day but surprisingly i had none. This might had been because i knew that company is a new company and can not provide me the things i might think they can provide me so i thought to not think of any thing. So this was what i precisely did - going to company on the first day without thinking of anything. Most of the thinking required on my part was done by Manish who had 2 weeks prior to me and rest was done by ruchi who was joining with me. So everything went on smoothly and here i am writing a blog during those boring office hours when it is impossible to do some work. So some of the interesting things happened in past weeks:_

1) I had the first time experience of being drenched in muddy water splashed by a speeding 4 wheeler on a poor 2 wheeler driver. I had to back and change my clothes. I also had to wake vicksy up from his slumber to get ready and go office early to drop me on his way.

2) I had to wear office formals continuously for nearly 40 hour and even go shopping in those clothes which resulted in great embarrasment for me because by the end of 48 hours the office formals were looking quite shabby and people in the shops were treating me like one the shopboys who help them in choosing their clothes.

3) I shopped for formal wear for nearly 4 days including a weeknd to buy a pathetic pair of pants, 1 good pair of pants and 2 ordinary shirts.

4) I gave a ppt on some pharma basics. At this point of time I feel it quite okk but like evry time else i know it was pathetic. Some may be wondering that i am equivocating, but to those people i will say that there is a difference between feeling and knowing. Sadly the things you know are always correct.

5) One thing i am proud of is that i still have not forgotten my old talent of messing things up. I almost messed up my talk with company CEO when i followed nonsense comments by further nonsense comments. I do not know if he pretended not to hear it or he actually did not hear. But I know that i still haven't lost my potential to be clumsy.

This long post should come to halt now since i have to leave the office and it has been a long day for me as well. I hope now i will be able to update this space frequently.
